I'm sorry, I'm missing this reference.  I would assume an alumnus of 
a university would know all the symbolism connected to the 
university, so Hannah's knowledge on this subject wasn't surprising 
really, just enlightening. Ray--did you miss the original college 
mascot discussion and how the little innocent Chesapeake Bay terrapin 
instills fear in the hearts of UMD's rivals?
