Strip club dancers are revealing their civic- minded side by helping raise money for the volunteer fire department. Every Friday and Saturday night, dancers encourage patrons at Racers Premier Gentlemen's Club to donate money to help the Sparta Fire Department pay off its new pumper truck. Fire Chief Wallace Patrick said he has taken some heat for accepting money from the strip club, which opened in April 2000. "Some people say it's a disgrace to the firefighting industry," he said. "But unless somebody else can tell me right now how we can come up with the money, what choices do we have? We wouldn't have the truck without the girls." Miami. A plane owned by a company that offers couples the chance to see Key West from the air -and have sex while doing so- crashed after a couple tried to hijack it to Cuba, the pilot said. The pilot was rescued but the couple were missing and presumed dead. A Cuban man and woman in their 60s chartered a single-engine plane Thursday belonging to Fly Key West and then demanded to be taken to Cuba after takeoff, pilot Thomas Hayashi told FBI investigators. Hayashi said he fought with the man, who fell into the plane's throttle, causing it to crash. The Piper Cherokee plunged into almost 1,100 metres of water 65 kilometres south of Key West. Canadian police are hunting someone who sliced the testicles off 20 fibreglass bison. The life-sized models were placed around the streets of Edmonton as decoration for the World Athletics Championships. It is likely new testicles will be moulded on to the animals. A police spokesman: "We don't know what a possible motive is. It's certainly not for money. I mean, what can someone get for testicles? I don't think there's a market for that." The chairman of the 'Buffalo Project', Ric Dolphin, said he knew what should happen to the vandals when they are caught. "Let the punishment fit the crime," he said...
