A deadly black snake which escaped from a reptile show
has been re-captured after it showed up in an Austrian
coffee shop. A daring customer caught the reptile and
handed it over to a pet shop in Voels where it is being kept.
Snake experts say the man was very lucky as the dark
viper pseudechis gutattis, a native to Australia, is highly
venomous and very aggressive. Local police suspect the
animal has been living on the premises ever since it
escaped from a reptile show in a shopping centre three
months ago.
German police are hunting a monkey which jumped on
a man's chest, rifled his pockets and made off with his
cash. It struck as the man was walking down the street
in Zinnwald-Georgenfeld. He told police a boy aged about
12 ran off after the thieving monkey. He had been seen
holding the animal earlier. The victim said the monkey
searched through his inside pocket and took the equivalent
of �100 before running off.
A Nigerian has been jailed after claiming he was sleepwalking
when he tried to snatch a gun from a prison guard. Rabilu Musa
attempted to grab the rifle from a guard at a prison gate in Katsina.
He claimed he was sleepwalking at the time and didn't even
know about the incident until two days later. The Judge said
there was no evidence from relatives or doctors to back up
his claims. Musa was convicted of trespassing and attempt
to commit a criminal offence.
Authorities in Estonia have fined a schoolboy for accusing
George W Bush of organising the US terror attacks. The
16-year-old sent the email directly to President Bush. A
Russian radio station says the message closed with the
sentence, 'Death to you!' The Estonian authorities fined
the boy �20 for the act of 'minor hooliganism'.

"Properties"
What are your personal properties? Your hair color, eye
color, height, etc. They describe you. And various "objects"
within your computer have properties, too. For example,
what are the properties of your monitor, or "desktop"?
Right click a blank area of your screen, and select
Properties. You'll see the properties of your Display
(called Display Properties) listed.
Many objects have "Property Sheets" attached to them. To
find out more about some item in your computer, try
right clicking... and selecting 'Properties'. You're in
for an eye-opener.
