Since the French are just waking up :-) I'll answer some of these while we are
waiting...

Should be part of the standard codecs in use, someone else will go into more
detail. (Different codecs would vary.)
- Does it support Call Transfer, Call Divert , voice conferencing .
Conferencing was the most requested feature for the next version, WengoPhoneNG.
As of now conferencing is implemented as a service by the operator, which
supports any phone.
- Does it support Conversation recording .
I believe this too was high on the wishlist for the next version, so it will
probably be there in a couple of months.
- NAT Traversal issues , STUN
As for nat AND firewall traversal, OpenWengo is the best SIP client out there,
only Skype may be better. IMO, apart from occasional STUN support, this is
something all other clients have so far ignored and the main distinguishing
feature of WengoPhone.
Do also let me know other features that are not listed here and is
present in the wengo phone .
Audio Smileys :-)
Ok, I'll have to stop that... I believe WengoPhone is by far the best open
source phone that is also available on Windows. (There are some good Linux-only
ones too.) I especially like the user interface. Many of the SIP clients I've
tried either try to look like real phones, complete with awkward menus and
settings and stuff (why anyone would want that is beyond me) or they look like
standard windows applications. There are some other than WengoPhone that go for
the Instant Messenger (or Skype) look, but I think WengoPhone is the only one
that is not tied to a specific operator. (I think pulver.Communicator is another
one, you can change SIP Proxy if you first register with FWD, which is ironic
actually.)
