Hello, I can also suggest that you look at the DBUS support project.
IMHO, one of the good ways way to reuse the core wengophone code is to code presentations through a DBUS binding. This way, presentation bindings could all use the same DBUS engine. It should not be too hard I guess to use the C-DBUS binding to create a GTK software.
