It seems like a "feature", someone (gruikya?) add 2 lines of code to do this.
(src/widgets/textbox.cpp lines 504,505)
I agree AFAIK it's very not standard, which means that:
a) nobody will knows/uses this feature
b) sometimes it will causes unexpected behavior for normal users
But I will get second opinions before remove it. Maybe it's a standard on
some OS or some exotic keyboard don't have backspace key.
