Follow-up Comment #1:
In the editor, the keys for zooming are z, x, d and they work.
You can change it in settings -> preferences -> hotkeys
But I agree use the same default keys that the game is probably a good idea.
It's also true the hotkeys preferences menu of the editor need to be cleaned:
no editor specific keys and irrelevant game keys.
I will also check the tooltips of the brush
PS: with this info, I changed the severity to wish.
