Follow-up Comment #1, bug #9126 (project wesnoth):
_Or_, maybe it would be possible to use another key than shift to toggle
acceleration, as you also press shift when writing chat messages and labels,
and on many keyboards when producing the : sign. (Of course, the : hotkey can
be changed by the user as well.)
I just don't know what key to use instead of shift... think about it, maybe.
