Follow-up Comment #5, bug #9288 (project wesnoth):

Ok, I think I understood later what you meant with your first comment. (If
both you and your enemy have a unit with e.g. ambush - say, a wose - and your
enemy's wose is hidden, you can find it by selecting your wose and pointing
the mouse at an empty forest hex in the ZoC of the enemy wose. I assume the
same goes for nightstalk, and you even don't need a forest for that.)

Still thinking about this, summing up:
- The current way shows the _potential_ (future) status, and currently works
(at least almost) as designed.
- The alternative way would only ever show the _current_ status, and would
not give hints about the future status. (You had two useful ides about how
these hints could be shown, if wanted.) This would possibly be more in line
with the assumed purpose of the sidebar, i.e. showing the _actual_ (current)
status information.

I will trust your judgment about whether you think changing the behaviour is
worth the effort needed.
