Follow-up Comment #7, bug #9304 (project wesnoth):
One more thing - about points 1) and 2).
There's two problems: the user not knowing where the gate will be, and
warning the user in advance that all dwarves left outside will die. My next
point addresses the former.
Giving the player a _visual_ cue about the location of the gate (once the
coordinates are fixed) could at least help. My idea is this:
- Now, the sides of the passage are cave floor, and the center is paved.
- If instead you'd have the entire passage be paved road, _except_ the line
of the gate, which would be of another terrain type, for example cave floor,
_the location of the gate would be a lot more obvious to the user._
Please think about this possibility.
