Follow-up Comment #3:
This stipulation in Gnome's "Human Interface Guidelines" has multiple
components, so addressing one aspect of it may weaken another. For example,
doesn't "Battle for Wesnoth" already start with a verb describing the
activity that takes place? Thus a synonym for 'battle' would seem redundant
and convey no additional information.
However, if you can come up with a verb-styled wording that sounds as concise
as the current phrase while still providing the same amount information,
please go ahead and post it.
