Follow-up Comment #1, bug #9849 (project wesnoth):
I am having corrupted replays in the South Guard campaign with 1.3.7, too.
The corruption message only displays after some turns, it might have to do
with me saving/loading at that time. You can still click on "Ok" and follow
the replay normally, though.
