Follow-up Comment #4, bug #10354 (project wesnoth):
Strange. I do see this happening in AToTB -- reloading the linger save from
just after killing the boss in scenario 1 brings him back with HP 0. But
this does *not* occur when setting up the same situation in AOI! There
appears to be something campaign-specific to AToTB going on here.
