Follow-up Comment #6, bug #11167 (project wesnoth):
Okay, here is a save game from immediately beforehand. After the save, I hit
clover-R to recruit, and using the cursor keys, moved down then up fairly
quickly. It then hung. I did not hit enter at any time.
However, I must say that I then tried loading this save game, and did the
same thing again and everything worked.
