Follow-up Comment #11, bug #11167 (project wesnoth):
Thus, now I am a member, but instead of answers, I have questions, a lot.
About what Piotr wrote, knowing that I really do not know anything about
programming at this level, and that all I was able to do is just press the
Build button in Xcode and uploading the files,
1: which kind of flags is it (-fexceptions)? CCFLAGS, CXXFLAGS, etc.? I can
presumably add it once I know it
2: gcc4.0 is the only one, as far as I know, that support universal binary
(at least in Leopard). I will see if the apple gcc has dw2 exceptions (but I
do not know what these are), since I am really far from being able to build a
toolchain that does something I have no clue what it is.
3: I think XCode already uses threadsafe library (I googled a bit, I'm not
sure) unless it is explicitely mentioned in the library's documentation.
4: again, I do not know what these posix threads are, and how to set it in
XCode (if it is something that can be set).
Since maybe people still do not know, I'm doing this official stuff since
Ivanovic asked me, but what I was really offering was cpu time and bandwidth,
since I am really a newbie to Xcode, and programming at this level in general.
I am a physicist, not a computer scientist, and it requires a lot of time to
document myself in all these stuffs. And, mostly, I don't have this time, as
a volunteer usually hasn't. But I will try to do my best to fix it.
