Better apply the patch ASAP and give it some testing. That is: yeah, we
should most likely drop support for "previous" replays. Is there a function
ingame already to say "no, this replay won't work"? And yeah, I also prefer
the "clean" solution instead of the hacky one even though it will break
compatibility.

Since "normal" saves should still work, right? That is: We most likely will
need a MINIMUM_REPLAY_VERSION like done in src/wesconfig.h for savegames.
