Details:

The AI leader is participating in fighting a lot more than he used to. If he
left the keep far enough, he will keep fighting (though seeking villages when
low on hitpoints) and never return to recruit, no matter how much gold he
has.

Attached is a replay between two AI's, demonstrating the problem.
