Follow-up Comment #4, patch #1154 (project wesnoth):
Note also that fetching language via PO message may be not all that
superfluous from non-technical point of view. Two languages might share a lot
of commonality, such that they may be able to use many of the same localized
images; an easy follow up to the current patch would be to enable translating
that message with comma-separated list of language codes, such that the first
localized image found is used. Examples of near-equal languages of the top of
my head are some Nordic, Iberian-Latin American, or Balkanian groups.
