Details:
First i observed some really odd game statistics during game play. a game
with lot of attacks had alarming statistics far from the ev. One game i had
taken ca. 700 of 450 expected this should be very rare (at least when using
default units).
Second i did some investigation into what might cause the oddity and found an
example.
a Horse attacking a assassin leader (36 hp) on 60% ground defense at day do
30 damage pr. attack. The expected damage is 0.4 * 60 = 24 in case assassin
is hit only 0 or 1 time. But it reads 20 in game. That is after i attack and
did one hit stats read (30/20) but should have been 30/24. There can be
constructed worse examples. Also i suspect that there may be more hidden bugs
in the stat calculation to explain the very off damage taken / given seen by
me and other players.
A good test could be to simulate a "to the dead battle" between a horse and a
assassin n times. The expect and actually damage dealt should not vary much
for n big enough. Cycling though a number of different 1v1 "to the dead"
battle might reveal other patterns
My IRC nick is _ping_ and forum nick is ping so either PM or email will do if
you want me to explain further
