Follow-up Comment #5:
This bug is actually the same as the Chinese bug #13905. They're both to do
with which font(s) Pango uses. The problem is that Pango has to use
system-installed fonts (as I said in my last comment). The reason it works
fine for me, is that I have the two Wesnoth fonts installed. See the other
bug for more explanation.
