Follow-up Comment #4, bug #14487 (project wesnoth):
there is an almost *exactly* the same problem with rendering the texts in
Win98+KernelEx - the DejaVu font is rendered properly, but anything not
rendered from it (inc. campaign texts, in-game unit descriptions etc) gets
replaced with aformentioned square boxes instead of correct glyphs? (i've
used a WinXP font set for testing, so it's definitely *not* related with XP
fonts missing from 98)
could anybody verify it's related with aforementioned UTF8 / font.cpp /
SDL_TTF problems?
