Follow-up Comment #6, bug #14577 (project wesnoth):
i use only the default language (english - EN); the OS is Win98 OSR 2 +
KernelEx, set to XP compatibility mode, and the bug is easily reproducible,
as it has already been reported on the forums to always occur on this
particular OS.
and yeah, i known W98 is now considered 'unsupported' at best - that's why i
haven't reported these bugs myself in the first place - but the issue with
improper font display seems to be rooted not in the OS, at least not
entirely, as it happens to users on other platforms too, only to a lesser
degree.
