Details:
When you start the third scenario, on challenging mode, you have 24 turns to
complete the scenario, (kill the enemy leader, move your leader to Bjarn's
cell) but after you kill the enemy leader you get 30 turns to complete the
scenario, which is the number of turns that you get to complete the scenario
on easy.
To reproduce:
Play the third scenario of A Tale of Two Brothers on hard and kill the enemy
leader.
