Details:

Possibly known, thought I'd report it in any case.
After starting wesnoth with the --debug switch and when enabling the new
lobby in the preferences file, I can use debug functionalities in a mp game.
Tested on the server in real mp too.
This doesn't work if either of the condition is not given.

Note that from a scenario maker point of view this is a fantastic feature -
it allows thorough testing for OOS errors by using :inspect etc.

(Discovered since silene lately changed the default setting back to the old
lobby.)
