I don't think that ids solve the problem.
The old problem was that copy pasting code/macros (same thing) duplicated
events, causing unexpected results. The name has to be unique.
The problem with ids is the same. Copy pasting/macros with an embedded id
have the exact same problem. Now the id has to be unique.
I don't know what the event filters are. Why were they not sufficient to
solve the feeding problem?
