Follow-up Comment #11, patch #2851 (project wesnoth):
My opinion as a WML afficionado would be to stay away from new and somewhat
complicated mechanisms like scopes. The ability to give an event an id, remove
that event in another event and preventing event duplication based on the id
is already a very good feature, and is perfect for solving all the problems
we've had with feeding.
The only scope-related thing I've always wanted would be truly global events;
something we could add to the [game_config] tag and which would always be
active regardless of what you are playing. As far as I can tell, event filters
cover all the other scoping needs.
