Follow-up Comment #7, patch #2851 (project wesnoth):
I'm still not clear on what this scoping of events would even do. Would it
make the "die" event in the Necrophage only activate when a Necrophage dies?
(Obviously a bad idea.) Allowing an event to reference the unit type that it
was included in without having to specify that in the macro call would be
somewhat nice, though not quite the same as scoping.
