Follow-up Comment #14, bug #18892 (project wesnoth):
Hi csarmi, the patch is for source code, so it can't be applied to your
wesnoth installation on win7, it can be applied on sources and then you have
to compile wesnoth.
I reproduced the bug on linux, anyway (it's the same bug you experimented on
win7) and I'm not able to produce a patch for win7 executable, you may ask to
some other developer which uses win7.
Anyway, my patch still far from being discussed / accepted / applied, this is
also my first contribution so I understand that a serious discussion will
occur about its effectiveness. :)
