Follow-up Comment #21, bug #18892 (project wesnoth):
csarmi: I suggest to follow projectfiles/CodeBlocks/README.txt. That is known
to work on win7 (I know about Exasperation and SigurdFireDragon).
When I compiled wesnoth first it was with that method and it took me one
evening. I had been compiling C++ on windows before however, but the built
system was in worse condition back then.
If you already have svn I suggest to set the status of your sources to the
revision 1.9.9 was made with and to apply the patch shadowmaster made and then
compile.
one thing for you to remember: This is not a ready-to-go issue. Compiling
something is a potentially infinitely difficult and time consuming task. You
are expected to potentially invest tons of hours to get something to work
without asking for everything.
Your alternative is to wait for 1.9.10 since it looks as if it might be
available next week.
