Details:

Seems like a crappy USB modem is not the best idea to play timed multiplayer
games with...

On what it was produced:

Debian Squeeze, Wesnoth 1.8.6 compiled from source (All tools involved in the
process were the standard Debian Squeeze packages). I ran the game from
WindowMaker, starting from an XTerm session.

The way how it was / should be produced:

1. Use a really laggy really crappy modem.
2. Join a standard multiplayer game, all defaults, with a turn time limit.
3. Recruit, play, etc. until you get to fight.
4. Try to carry out attacks just before your time is up.

This if the modem is real laggy and your attack does not carry out before the
timer chops your turn should throw you off with a nasty segfault. At least it
happened for me.

So the exact things happening on the client side (at me) before this struck
are as follows: I queue in an attack several seconds before my time would be
up. The attack request does not get processed before the time is up (So the
game is effectively "froze" not willing to carry out any action on the
battlefield waiting for the attack to finish). Time expires on client, it
passes the turn, and passes out with a segfault.

I did not reproduce this since I have not got anyone to be on the "other end
of the wire" who would help me testing it (Maybe if I attempted to start
Wesnoth twice, and "multiplay" with myself through the official server?). I
can and willing to help tracking this down with my crappy modem if anyone will
help with the testing.
