Follow-up Comment #11, bug #21882 (project wesnoth):
defeat_condition solved my problem, because I can *temporarily* assign
defeat_condition to "never".
But I am curious whether one could firmly assign defeat_condition to "never"
within [side], and then apply arbitrary victory conditions?
Sure, by WML/lua tools one can [endlevel] when all teams except one are
defeated. But can one end the game just for one defeated side?
a point concerning the wiki:
parts of the wiki that mention defeat_condition (in present sideWML and
LuaWML:Sides#wesnoth.sides) should point one to another
