Follow-up Comment #3, bug #21940 (project wesnoth):
Confirmed behavior in 1.12.0. Attacking (and killing) the quintain after
recruiting the elves causes Konrad to exclaim: "I'll tell them to use the one
that does the most damage!" on the next turn.
Also, I noticed similar behavior when I attacked the quintain instead of
retreating to a village, killing it (100% hit rate). Delfador summoned more
quintains, then left. Konrad said "I'll recruit some elves!" (which kind of
works by itself). After I did so, on the next turn Konrad said "I'll tell them
to use the one that does the most damage!" without preamble.
Possible solutions: disallow Konrad to attack on turns 2 and 3, force Konrad's
hit rate to 0% when the quintain is nearly dead, or have Delfador summon
another quintain instead of leaving if the first dies before turn 4.
