Details:
The WML load error report dialog, the Gamestate Inspector, and the Lua Console
dialog use the 'verbatim' scroll_label widget variant as of commit
1c21924b514ebc6dcfa1f1ae992a34449154f119. On Windows and Linux, this uses
DejaVu Sans Mono for rendering text instead of the default sans serif font for
the current locale.
Although the code references the font by name and not by file, this works fine
on Windows and Linux since the font manager scans the Wesnoth fonts directory
for font files on startup (see font::manager::init() in font.cpp). This
doesn't work on OS X for some reason.
It is very likely the underlying cause of this issue is the same as bug
#23560.
