Follow-up Comment #7, bug #23918 (project wesnoth):
This is not "Fixed," and remains a rather severe bug as it is unplayable in El
Capitan, OS X 10.11.
lf SDL2 fixes it and can be merged, then maybe this should be explored.
Otherwise, exploring another fix would be a good idea.
The eminent 1.13.2 release will likely need to forgo El Cap support.
