Follow-up Comment #1, bug #23559 (project wesnoth):
We have determined it to be a Pango library issue.
1.12.x is using a set of Pango libraries that are unaffected, but 1.13.* still
do.
1.13.2 is confirmed to work (launch successfully) with both 1.10 and 1.11.
Now that SDL2 has been merged (in case that should make any difference),
I’ll be testing and looking into this once again.
