I did some testing:
Even for example the Autumn Shyde in TRoW has the same problem. However, its
halo is animated, meaning that it gets redrawn constantly and for some reason
that helps to mostly keep it where it should be. Also, its halo is faint
enough that it's not really noticeable when it flickers off.
Wose Shamans in DM didn't seem to have the problem, and that's probably
because the halo is for some reason part of their standing animation instead.
Making the MoL halo animated will help slightly by causing redraws more often,
for example with:
halo=halo/illuminates-aura.pn[g*10]:50
It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the halo size.
I'm not sure exactly when the halo gets misdrawn, but it happens consistently
at least during movement.
