I don't consider this as a very hard recruit. In thise case the commit rights will only be granted to commit stuff other devs approved. It's very easy to see in the commit ml wheter she does other stuff and in the case of malicious wrong commits - revert them and revoke her rights. One can not really destroy anything in a SVN repository with mere commit rights, just cause a lot of work in the worst case.
