Okay, currently there are two songs included with the game that were
created by zhaytee:
music/wesnoth-1.ogg
music/wesnoth-2.ogg
Sirp does not have the mail correspondency that took place with zhaytee
about three and a half year ago. So we don't know for 100% sure that he
explicitly did agree on having it licensed under the GPL. Though I am
rather sure that he did never explicitly state that he wanted it under a
special license that is *not* the GPL. So unless he does not contact us
stating that his music was never released under the GPL we can assume
that he knows it is licensed under the GPL and that he accepts it. The
whole of Wesnoth always was GPL, no extra license.txt files were ever
used and stuff, even in the old days many years ago.
But if he contacts us stating that he does not want his music under the
GPL license we should completely remove it from *all* upcoming releases.

Yes, non-GPL stuff could only be shipped via "external" way. That is
*not* on the campaign server or in one of our official packages linked
directly from the website and hosted in our area of influence. If eg
some people did package it with XYZ and place a link in our wiki to it,
we can not be responsible since we don't really host it. If something
definatly non-GPL was in our packages we would have to remove it since
it IMO would be a conflict with the license itself.

Cheers,
Nils Kneuper aka Ivanovic
