There is a problem in the sense that Valencian speakers who want to use
Wesnoth aren't supposed to make an investigation on what Valencian is, and
what this "RACV thing" is all about.

You see, in Valencian country everyone understands Valencian to be the
language that is taught in school as "Valencian", the language that is used
by the government, in public signs, in newspapers, etc, etc, etc.

There's only a small (but very vocal as you can see), niche group that pretends
they made the "real" Valencian, and are fond of using free software projects
like Wesnoth to push further in their agenda.

So, just like one can invent a language and call it "Klingon", and this is
never considered a problem, it shouldn't be considered a problem for the RACV
to invent languages as well. My whole point is _not_ that they shouldn't, but
that it should be referred to in a way that doesn't confuse the average
Valencian speaker.

That is, if we put together:

  - Valencian (southern Catalan)
  - Valencian (RACV)

we're impliing that whether Valencian is option 1 or 2 is a matter of opinion,
but it's been explained very clearly that it is not.
