I only want to do this translation following the academy that I believe... who wants use it, he can, who doesn't want use it, he can select another option... this is the freedom, you can choose what you want. Everybody has the right to be represented... (as in Firefox :) ) 3. But the philologists and history man...saying that Valencian and Catalan are the same language I know a philologist for example, Lluis Fullana i Miras, who defended what I believe and this philologist collaborated with RAE (Spanish academy)... Furthermore, you can read in many Valencian books of s.XV (Valencian Golden Century) that the authors said: Written in Valencian language, and you can find translations of Catalan works into Valencian language... There are many cases that I can tell you if you want but this isn't the issue of this conversation. 4. Jaume I, king of Aragon was king of Aragon, Catalonia and then conquered Valencia and Balear islands to the muslim in the middle age. This is the fact. It's true this fact... Jaume I, king of Aragon Crown, was occitan (not Catalan, born in Montpelhier, France) and he conquered Valencia... Catalan was mixed with Mozarab (spoken by people there) and some Aragonese... Valencian isn't only Catalan, this is the fact. This is the evolution of languages and in that way Valencian keep along the history its identity. It's said by Martin de Viciana in s.XVI for example. 5. Wesnoth is an open source game GPL, contributed by anybody who want to. So in my opinion it would'nt have to be a problem a translation to Valencian dialect, named "RACV(Valencian)". - I agree with your opinion about GPL. I think it's better the name "Valencian (RACV)": the language (or in what you believe) the first and the academy between parenthesis, but the people can give their opinions...
