Dear all, I am currently developing a web based fantasy football online game, which will be a mixture of a famous table top game, management elements like in Hattrick.org und will be settled in the World of Wesnoth. You manage team of players of different races (aka Wesnoth units) and compete against others. Turn based strategy as well.
Some of the graphics (the world maps and some units) of the Wesnoth project could be very helpful - but ... I dont want to open the source of the web site, to give less possibilities to cheat or exploit it. Therefore it would not be GPL, I think. Of course the game will be open for everybody and free of charge. Is it possible that the Wesnoth project could make an exception, or should I rather ask the individual authors of the images for their permission to use them?
