Okay, I personally don't have a way that works 100% when reproducing things. It might also have to do with the window manager or desktop environment used. For me it works to "just" change the virtual desktop, come back and have input back. In general it seems like there are more and more people affected by the problem, eg in the gentoo bugtracker is an entry about 1.6.5 affected by this problem with libsdl [1]. Yes, I don't have a 100% sure way to reproduce this either. It might be that a little more than "just" Wesnoth and libsdl is concerned, not sure at all though... In general it seems that the "email" button (the envelope at the buttom-right) seems to work for all users where the "normal" buttons don't. Yes, this *is* some strange stuff...
