In theory, I'm in, though TBF I've been doing comparatively little 'noth stuff
over the past year due to various Real Lifeā„¢ stuff. Depends on holiday as well.

> Game Development" room at the next FOSDEM? In the previous years we always had
> our WESDEM during FOSDEM and just got us "some" seats in one of the hacking

> Of course you now face the question what a dev room would mean:
> FOSDEM is a meeting of open source software developers that happens during the
> first weekend of February at a University campus in Brussels. There tend to be
> several thousand devs of *many* projects. Over the last 4 years we always had
> a "european wesnoth meeting" there with at least 8 to 10 of us wesnoth devs
> attending. A dev room at FOSDEM would mean that we are giving talks eg about
> how the AI in a TBS game can work and be made to act modular. Or an artist can
> show in a live session of to create artwork for games and talk about possible
> problems that you usually have to face. It might be nice to have some
> collaboration with other projects to see how they handle things like eg a good
> approach to version control for the various aspects we got to handle.
> So what do you think, should I push for the idea during the mentor summit and
> go for applying for a dev room[1]? I'd have to fill the application during the
> mentor summit weekend since I'll spend some holidays in San Francisco downtown
> afterwards and won't be back home before the submission deadline is over.
