Hello!

Here at FOSDEM we were again talked about moving away from gna
bugracker and gna-hosted svn to our own bugtracker and github-hosted
git.
GNA is not maintained and it's better to do the move now, at our
leisure, than later, when we might be forced to do it due to an
outage.

This time it seems that there are no major obstacles preventing us
from the move, and anyone who wishes to continue using SVN (e.g. for
partial checkouts) can still do it as github supports it (see
https://github.com/blog/966-improved-subversion-client-support ).

WIP details available on http://wiki.wesnoth.org/WesnothGIT

So far there's no timeline for the move, but we're already testing the
bugtracker export/import script and svn-to-git conversion of wesnoth's
repository (both based on the tools provided by esr)

Comments are welcome.
