AI has tested with exporting our data to git, which resulted in a 1.4 GiB repository. GitHub has a recommended limit of 1 GB [1], so we'll need to ask whether the size of our repository is a problem. Since there have been no objections to move to git I'll contact GitHub and ask them whether our repository size is an issue. If it is they have some ideas how to reduce the size of the repository [2]. But if it is no problem I prefer to keep everything in one repository.
