Hi Ejiku,

Thank you for suggesting Mr Erejobo James Chiria's name for the task force. I
have met him and interacted iwth him. He shares many of the concerns being
discussed in this forum. I therefore second him for membership of the task
force unless some one objects.

Thank you.

My friends,

As names continue to flow, I would on the data analysis side suggest one of our
own with a very wide ranging analytical acumen and has been a senior
researcher for long working outside Uganda but now is helping and working with
the National Council For Higher Education, Mr. Erejebo James Chiria. His
commitment to such initiatives can be immense if contacted in time and I have
personally had the benefit to work with him on a number of things lately. I
find his work amazing and that such talents are just abound within our
community but we can not tap into them is really disturbing.

This is not to say he can not be contacted later even if outside the task
force. Im mindful of the fact that character and diversity of the team be
emphasized and not every name that springs to mind can be part of the taskforce.

Fr. Ruffino you might want to consider these suggestions for your force and
possibly contact him like you did for other members you now have willing to
join you on the team.

Thank you.

Ejiku.

Hi to you all. The different and diverse views this forum is generating is
breathe-taking to read, especially, they are all coming from the sons and
daughters of the region. I feel confident we have the human resources fron West
Nile who can turn around the pathetic and chaotic situation we are experiencing
in our region. This is our time to make a mark in the history of the region -
to take advantage of a bad and sorry situation and and get something very good
and memorable to the future generation.
Our problems are many but interrelated and as such we need to have an
intergrated approach to it. The task force is where we begin. We need to
expand the task force to perhaps upto 11 or 13 people with different and
various background. We need to include women (2 to 3 at least), youth (2 to 3
we need to let our youths start to learn from us the older generation), local
business people.

I am sure many of you know amongst yourselves from home, people who have the
ability to critically look and evaluate issues, research, collect and analyze
data, are effective participants,  take initiatives and have the ability to
motivate. Critical thinking and ability to integrate in a wider perspective the
issues in our region as a whole is very vital for the Task force. I would
suggest Fr. George Ezatirale and Jimmy Adriko or Tabu Butagira be included in
the Task Force because we shall need some journalists to help in disseminating
some of the activities we are about to embark on in the newspapers.
Thanks,
