Hello Lina
Thank you for the warm welcome

Yes indeed I am glad Fr. Rufino introduced me to this for a of great people
with
great views. I am happy to learn a lot and share my views on some subject
matters.

Electricity- indeed Afi put it so well. He gave a very elaborate explanation of
the different possibilities. My view there was, whatever the options, can
something be done for Westnilers sooner than later and can Westnilers raise
above their differences and see this happen?

Can leaders, development partners and all people of westnile work towards a
common goal. With great people like Afi, you, I and all others on this for a
this should be possible. This call for UNITY should be upheld at all fronts.
Aggrey has very good arguments like wise Mickson and others.

I believe regardless of our political affiliations, we should work for the
greater good of our region and country. My call is for UNITY. UNITY at all
fronts, as someone said poverty knows no religion or tribe. Our people need us,
and together we can build our region and nation Uganda.

I support the call to strongly support personalities and not parties. We need
people of substance who will address our development issues and not be
sycophants for the sake of being popular with a particular party. People who
will regardless of their party, critique issues, and stand for the greater good
of the people of westnile and Uganda. And not say it’s what the people want
when
they did not even consult the people.

Therefore, if we support personalities with proven capabilities in areas of our
development issues, person who can elaborately discuss and present in unity the
development concerns of our region, then the westnile region will be heading
for
greater horizons.

Civic education
I agree with you Lina, we need the physical presence of non-partisan civic
educators to reach those who can not read and write. We can not keep seeing
people give their votes for the sake of some kilograms of sugar or salt, and
bear another 5 years in increasing poverty.

Cheers to all,
Jennifer
