My dear brothers, thank you all for the responses to Akua and Pariyo. I really cannot say much, you have said it all. I thank Dr. Anguzu for the detailed information you have given to these uninformed guys. I thing these people have a problem understanding English perhaps we need to be translating writings in this net into their mother tongue for them to understand.
I even dont know these two men and I have no idea how they look like and therefore have no personal problems with them but I think they are just ignorant of what they are saying and have rightly expressed their ignorance publicly which is very good to know. Now that we know this about them,we can see how to deal with them. I think they are just frastruted guys who are looking for some recognition but because they dont know how to achive this, they think they can use my name. But just to educate them more and add to what others have said, science cafe will be sensitizing people on cervical cancer and the vaccine. menaing that we shall tell people about the disease, the modes of transmission, prevention and management. One of the ways of preventing it is the new Human Papiloma Virus Vaccine(HPV vaccine). we shall tell people about this vaccine, how it works, the side effects and dangers if any so that people can make informed decisions either to take it or not. This is the role, science cafe has been playing all along. How do these westnilers think that Munduru can innovate a vaccine, do they really know about how vaccines are arrived at? we are not going to vaccinate people, that is the role of Ministry of health and they are already doing it, why cant Akua and Pariyo go to fight Ministry of Health, next time they are coming to Arua to vaccinate people even without giving them this information we are giving, have you prepared your teams to fight them? They already did it in two districts and they have requested the vaccine to carry vaccination in ten more districts. Do you think you will stop this? I hope this is a simple english enough for you to understand. I really sympthatize with such people who think that by negatively and unobjectively critizing other people, you can become heroes. They can only show people how backward and perhaps barbaric they are and they will always remain frustrated. such things can only give science cafe team more strenght and it also exposes people who dont want development but hide here in disguise. Today you have just seem some of them and we shall continue to see more. As Ezaga has said, they are like beans which will never cook even if you use one sack of charchoal and they should stop wasting people's time, we are busy heads to read such nonsense. Bravo to all the postive thinkers who have senstized these guys.
