Dr Picho's findings confirm the relevance of the issues even up to today though 
the research was condcuted sometime back. Dr Picho provides a number of key 
high level recommendations especially with respect to the role of the 
headteachers. I,however, did not see  his recommendations on some of the 
pertinent issues like recommendations to remedy the negative contribution of 
the parents and students themselves. More ideas can be generated in this 
direction with possible recommendations.The issue of student discipline,self 
motivation,etc are noted in Dr Picho's paper-he probably should have provided 
some recommendations on the way forward;I didn't see recommendations on 
improvement of career guidance,etc.
 
Implementation of Dr Picho's finding in ernest is what is now require and gaps 
can be filled.
