Dear Afi,

I second your opinion.

I believe we need responsible civil servants (people) who understand their
duties to the citizens they serve. If you are appointed to serve your
community, I believe you (the civil servant) has been chosen based on the
skills the President (or any other authority) trusts that you will serve
your community with dedication.

While celebrations are good opportunity for networking and showing support,
contributing to such events should be voluntary and left to the people who
wish to contribute.

I am amazed that whenever there are serious matters where we are called
upon to help (Health issues, Education, etc) everyone keeps so quiet on
this forum. We are loosing the value upon which this forum was created.

I would like to call upon everyone to reflect on the strides we have made
through this effort in the last 2-3 years. what are our successes/failures?
Lets keep the light burning on the productive stuff that benefits the
community at large.

Cheers

JJ
